JIC
JIC connections use a 37 degree flare seat and are widely used across mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. The seal is made on the flare face, so cone condition and seat accuracy matter just as much as thread size.
Selection Guidance
When matching JIC parts, verify the thread size, the flare condition and whether the application is a pure JIC connection or a cross-standard conversion.
A matching thread alone does not guarantee sealing performance if the flare face is worn, contaminated or incorrectly machined.
